- How much do you charge? Before we can give you a quote, we need to know Where the Venue is, the date and approx. times e.g start/finish, and type of event (e.g wedding reception)
- How do i book you for my event? Once you have a quote, Simply click mojo_band_booking_form.pdf and print off, fill in the details, sign it and send with the appropriate deposit to Mike Anderson, 61 Chieftain Way, Cambridge, CB4 2EF
- How long do you play for? We cater the sets to your needs. Typically, we play 3x 45 min sets, with an hour set-up time. We can of course play longer or shorter.
- Do you play music during your breaks? We do. We have a wide selection of music on mp3 and cd which is played during our set-up time and breaks. Our PA system has excellent sound quality.
- Can you provide a Disco aftwerwards? Yes. For an extra fee we can keep the music going after the band finishes. Please seek a quote for this with your enquiry. As mentioned before, our PA has excellent sound and you can choose to provide your own music or leave it in our capable hands. (this is a standard disco service- no mixing involved)
- My Venue is asking for the band to have a PAT test and or Public Liability insurance- Do you have this? Yes, we have an up to date PAT test and Public liability insurance cover for £2million .
- I need you to set-up /soundcheck earlier in the day- is that possible? It is sometimes possible, but it is likely to cost a lot more due to the time involved for us. Music is played while we are setting up and we have a quick soundcheck during that time so- If you are having a meal, for example, and dont want us to disturb that, we can arrive as soon as that finishes, start setting up and have music on within 5 to 10 mins so it is as smooth a transition as possible.
- Can i choose the songs that you play? You can choose some songs you definitely want us to play from our song list but it is best to leave the actual set to us. If you want us to play a song not on our list, let us know what it is and we will do our best to learn it.
- What size playing area do you need? 15 ft wide by 10 ft deep is a comfortable area for us but we have been known to squeeze into smaller sizes before
- Can you play our first dance song? Yes, alternatively you can provide us with a CD which we can play
- What sort of equipment do you have? We have our Mackie PA SRM450 system (2 speakers on poles), our instruments and amplifiers and mixing desk.
- What do i need to provide? A reasonably sized playing area, with access to mains supply. It is also customary to provide free drinks and food (snacks,sandwiches) to the band.
- What do you wear? Depends on the event and your preference-either Black Suits or Smart Casual.
